Smoke and Tobacco-Free UCSD Policy Compliance Training

This training was created by COUGH (Campuses Organized and United for Good Health) in collaboration with the California Youth Advocacy Network.  The purpose of the training is to increase compliance with the UCSD’s 100% Smoke and Tobacco-Free Policy.

To get credit for taking this training, please complete the following four steps:

1. Print out this quiz.

2. Watch the training and complete the quiz.

3. Take the evaluation at the end of the training.

4. Take your completed quiz to the person that referred you to take this training.  You must get 7 of 10 questions correct to get credit for taking the training.

Smoking Cessation Counseling

If you are a student and a smoker who would like to quit, Student Health Services can help. You can make an appointment for individual counseling with a Health Educator at Student Health Services by calling (858) 822-5926. Smoking cessation appointments at SHS are free, and cessation aids are available.


Prepare to Quit Smoking Workshops

If you are thinking of quitting, plan to attend a “Prepare to Quit Smoking” workshop led by a trained health educator who can assist you in determining your readiness, making a plan and QUITTING! No appointment is needed. Smoking cessation aides are also available.
