CYAN’s College Project is able to provide a variety of opportunities for college tobacco advocates and partners.
We are committed to providing technical assistance and support to individuals, coalitions, and organizations advocating for tobacco-free colleges and universities. Learn more about our technical assistance opportunities.
We are able to provide trainings to advocates working with a college or university on a variety of topics. If you are interested in CYAN facilitating a training for your group or organization, please do not hesitate in contacting us. See training examples, or contact us to discuss your training needs.
CYAN’s College Project aims to connect advocates working on tobacco-free initiatives at colleges and universities with others doing the same work. In order to do so, we have established several ways to connect with others and stay up-to-date on the latest tobacco prevention issues on college and university campuses.
Every year, CYAN promotes two Statewide Days of Action, The Great American Smokeout (GAS) in the fall, and Earth Day in the spring. Each day of action promotes cessation, and provides an opportunity for advocates to bring attention to the issue of tobacco use on campus. Details and registration information can be found here.
